ABOUT CAMI BURRUSS

Cami is a native of Louisville, KY. She received her BA in Studio Art from Wake Forest University ('16). She is a biracial, multimedia artist whose work has been featured in several shows at START Gallery and Hanes Gallery in Winston-Salem, and Revelry Boutique Gallery in Louisville. She is interested in both the synthesis of culture and exploration of familial heritage. Much of her work references Pahari miniature painting, a style which she studied in India under renowned miniaturist, Vijay Sharma in 2015.
